Participation to the "Camogli Communication Festival" 2024 - Italy
LEARN staff participated to the “Camogli Communication festival” 2024 (“Festival della Comunicazione di Camogli” http://www.festivalcomunicazione.it/ from 12nd to 15th September 2024. This festival is the most important event in Italy dedicated to communication, a public meeting space made up of squares, terraces and promenades and hosted in the picturesque seaside village of Camogli, the Communication Festival immediately established itself as one of the most popular cultural events, becoming the point of reference in the complex panorama of communication and in the current intergenerational debate in our country.
This has been the occasion to present together the LEARN project to the general public, communication specialists and researchers.

Participation to European Robotics Forum ERF 2025 - Germany
LEARN staff participated to European Robotics Forum 2025 (https://erf2025.eu) in Stuttgart (Germany) in March 2025.
ERF2025 is a premier event and as one of Europe’s most influential gatherings in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, the forum brings together leading experts, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to foster collaboration and exchange knowledge. The event revolves around the theme of enhancing synergies between robotics and AI to strengthen Europe’s technological leadership. It features an extensive program comprising over 50 workshops, keynote speeches, and technical sessions, along with an exhibition showcasing the latest AI-powered robotic innovations.
The forum provides a dynamic environment for networking and professional engagement. The event is designed to bridge the gap between academia, research, and industry, fostering innovation and strategic partnerships that will shape the future of robotics in Europe.
During this conference two main activities were carried out:
- the first was related to present the LEARN project to researchers by exploiting the SSSA’s stand at the conference;
- the second was related to the presentation of the scientific paper titled “Evaluation of a Haptic-Actuated Glove for Remote Human-Robot Interaction (HRI): A Proof of Concept” with a poster presentation.
Participation to IEEE World Haptics Conference 2025 - South Korea
LEARN project’s PI participated to the IEEE World Haptics Conference 2025 in Suwon (South Korea) in July 2025. During the conference, he interacted with international researchers for an exchange of ideas on the project’s research topics. The IEEE World Haptics Conference is the premier international conference covering all aspects of haptics including fundamental scientific findings, technological developments, algorithms and applications. It is a central venue for reporting research results and demonstrating novel capabilities in the field of haptics.
